WHAT IS MOLASSES

Molasses is a dark viscous liquid that remains after the final stage of sugar crystallization from which no further sugar can be crystallized economically by the usual methods. Molasses has recently gained popularity as it is a nutrient-rich sugar by-product. It contains all thenatural vitamins and minerals absorbed from the sugarcane. Molasses has a robust flavor which gives out a unique sweet burnt sugar aroma.
